Megan’s practice focuses on the federal income, estate, and gift tax implications for clients utilizing complex estate planning, trust, and business strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Megan counsels high net worth individuals in the design, implementation, and maintenance of traditional and sophisticated trust and estate plans, asset protection strategies, and life insurance structures. Megan also advises personal representatives, trustees, settlors, and beneficiaries regarding the efficient and effective administration of estates and trusts, including compliance with the myriad tax and non-tax obligations and implementation of judicial and non-judicial modifications and settlements.

Prior to joining GBGR, Megan served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Guy Herman at Travis County Probate Court No. 1. Megan graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was Professor Stanley Johnson’s research assistant. Prior to law school, Megan graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Business Management: Organizational Behavior/Human Resources.
